Looks great, but I would perhaps go for a bit more space around the bird. It's all up to you though :)

Great work Kristy. I would suggest ISO 800 and f8 as a good aperture for night photography like this. The flash is providing all the light so shutter speed is not as important as the aperture I find. Looks a little soft on the eye/face but not the branch and claw so I'm guessing it may have been the DOF. I like the composition as is too. Nice orange colour in the eye with these birds. :) Good to see you posting again too ;) :)

Very nice work Kristy - hope you dont mind but i did a couple of things to the image as a suggestion - cloned out the brown stuff in the background, altered the levels a little to lower the harshness a tad and an extra sharpen - let me know if you dont like me reposting - great to have your far NQ stuff on the site cheers David Taylor, Brisbane
