Galahs ( Cacatua roseicapilla) Australian Arid Lands Botani

Rod Warnock Joined: Fri Jul 03, 2009 1:22 pm Posts: 1068	Galahs ( Cacatua roseicapilla) Australian Arid Lands Botani Galahs ( Cacatua roseicapilla) Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden Port Augusta SA Canon EOS 40D Lens 100-400mm L IS USM at 400 mm ISO 400 F14.0 1/1600 (fill flash unintentionally) 8 October 2009 Taken at The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden Stuart Highway, Port Augusta. This is a great spot especially when the flora is blooming. Two hides are provided but when I was there I felt the positioning left much to be desired. All images were taken merely stalking birds at random. The Galahs above were taken from car window and in strong wind conditions. Took a few as these Galahs jockeyed for landing positions then repeated the effort a few times.
