HJC Today's the eighth. Are there anymore people left to enter? Ashwin

Re: The best ID comp ;) -- Part 1
ANSWERS #1: Mistletoebird female. Most people said they didn't know why, but they got the general feel of a mistletoebird... Well, trust general feelings then . #2: Yellow-faced Honeyeater . Many guesses for Crested Bellbird or some kind of Whistler. Not one correct, although Grant was awarded one point for his close guess of Striped H-E. Don't get cocky though... . I guess people will be wanting to see a 'proof-shot' for this one, so I'll post that in a couple of mins. #3: Buff-rumped Thornbill. Great work Everyone . #4: Aussie Gannet. All but one got this one, although most said that they had no idea why . #5 - Bird: Channel-billed Cuckoo. Good work to those 4 that got this. -Nest: Pied Currawong. Claps for Max and Grant, who both got this spot on, and Josh for getting Magpie. Ashy came pretty close with Aussie Raven as well. RESULTSSSS No one got full marks, but no one did badly either Grant (pictorella) = 16 points. Yeah yeah, fantastic ID'ing again Grant Ashy = 12 points. 2nd to the throne Josh = 10 points. When he first discussed this with me at school (of course I gave nothing away), he gave me the impression that he was gunna fail miserably , but he came through well in the end Tobias (callocephalon), Max and Nathan (nrg800): All drew at 9 points. Honestly not at all a bad score, hopefully you'll have luck on your side in the next round So there we have it. GOOD LUCK in Round 2 Henry J.C.

Just to prove that #2 is indeed a Yellow-faced Honeyeater: Attachment:

Haha, never mind John, that would've been a bit confusing I should've editted the original. Still enter in the next round though, we need as many competitors as we can get! Henry
