 striated thornbill.
well i can't seem to get off my A and get out there at the moment  one from the 30-6-2010, finally you get a shot in the open....  thanks for looking comments welcome. cheers  striated thornbill. (acanthiza lineata) 1d3 300 2x teleconverter 1/800 f/6.3 iso 400. Attachment:

Great stuff Mikey!!! Nice clean shot of this species. The pose and the beak slightly open add even more to the image. Maybe a tiny bit less contrast or sharpening but others may disagree

Love the pose, love the subject! Brilliant shot. On my work monitor, the image looked very oversharpened, but it is quite good here on my home monitor. Well done mate!
