 spotted pardalote nest gathering.
well there at it the little pardalotes, found about half dozen individual nests without trying  noted that 2 are at or just inside the entrance to active wombat holes  anyway heres one with some straw. thanks for viewing and comments edits welcome as allways spotted pardalote (pardalotus punctatus) 1d3 300 2x teleconverter 1/250 f/7.1 iso 500 monopod. Fantastic capture with the nesting material. The angle also does nicely to show off those gorgeous patterns this species has on their back.

Gorgeous. Love the pose and the nesting material in his beak. He sure is a nicely-coloured specimen.

Fantastic Mikey, looks like you're on a roll at the moment. These guys make great subjects at this time of year with all their busy nesting activity. Captured really well, a little bit of fill flash might have helped with the lighting. Do you have an off camera flash

This is fabulous Mike! Love the pose and sharpness - the nesting material really makes the shot though. Not sold on the comp personally but still brilliant capture.
