You should work for the Malaysian Tourist Board Adrian, 5 great reasons here to jump on a plane and get the camera/binoculars out!!! Great handling of the colour in these shots and of course super sharp at low shutter speeds. Thanks for sharing

Very impressive set, well exposured and sharp, especially considering the slow SS. What support system are you using?

I really don't know what the support system you are referring to. Generally, if I don't get a good shot with sufficient detail, I will just go back to shoot again. I don't know much about PS, other than using it to write my name. I use Canon processing system that came with the purchase of my camera. These shots are without any PS enhancement, but I always get very close to my subjects, and choose my BG very carefully. I do use bird call sometimes, to lure the bird close ! wingsonwire wrote: You should work for the Malaysian Tourist Board Adrian, 5 great reasons here to jump on a plane and get the camera/binoculars out!!! Thank you all, for your comments.

By support system I meant tripod, whether using a Wimberley Head or not. Sorry for not making it clear. Your images are very sharp.

My setup weighs about 20 lbs, tripod is a must to get sharp images. I use a Gitzo tripod, and Wimberley head. To get the best details. I always take gambles, either I get a close to full-frame shot, or nothing ! Birds in Malaysia are not so friendly, so we have to use long and heavy lenses. I used the same lens when in Australia, and many times I found the birds too close to shoot ! Thanks Hoppy.
