The results are now in for the inaugural Australia-wide PhotoTwitch. Judging by the participants comments, the event was a great success with every participant reporting that they very much enjoyed the competition (surely the most important way to judge a contest). Inclement weather in the southern states had a big impact on the totals, although many participants reported surprise at how high their totals were against the odds. It's all cool Mark.I didn't want to crop it too much as you start to loose detail and add noise the further you crop. I did try to get closer and my feet were in the water, however a Sacred Kingfisher had a swoop at it and sent it flying upstream a bit where it landed on some rocks but there was no access to get closer due to mangroves.
